Melanie is a writer, a dancer, a musician and an artist. She likes to work with acrylic paint on canvas, and she enjoys adding texture to her paintings using the impasto technique. Many of her paintings are animals that she has seen on her travels across the globe. She loves her dance sisterhood and studies tap and flamenco. Melanie is the author of the multiple award-winning book Love Snaggs – A Little Dog’s Courageous Journey. Melanie grew up in North Providence, RI, and she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from Bryant University where she became a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority. She has always been passionate about dogs, animals and animal rescue. Melanie is a 3-time cancer Survivor, and she lives in Central Florida with her family and her dog Wesley.
