Edward L Russell (b. 1949, New York, United States) is a painter and mixed media artist who lives and works in Orlando. He works in these medias because he loves painting with acrylics. Abstracts give him a chance to combine colors to make rich visuals. He also enjoys adding paper clippings to make inspirational Mixed Media paintings. He is inspired by visual artists who are whimsical and creative. He admires the courage and drive to make great art. Ed has been told that his work has a fantastic spirit and lots of aesthetic appeal

The main subject of Edward’s work is abstract which is important to him because he is able to create art that is visually pleasing and inspirational. Gives him a chance to use colors to move the souls of people. His art making process consists of working with large wall canvases looking for the “Wow” reaction from collectors.  This is important to understanding his work because abstract is subjective .and collectors have to relate and get a good feeling when viewing his art.
