ChariTea Afternoon Tea

ChariTea is Afternoon Tea with a purpose. Every other month, 12 guests will come together for an afternoon tea session that is both enjoyable and charitable. The event aims to bring people together, foster connections, and support various local charitable organizations.

Event Details:

-Who: Approximately 12 guests per session, invited by the host

-What: ChariTea is Afternoon Tea with a purpose. The tea can be themed, traditional, or styled according to the host’s preference.

-When: Bi-Monthly (scheduled as hosts are confirmed)

-Where: The Avalon Park Arts & Culture Center.

-Why: The event aims to bring people together, foster connections, and support various local charitable organizations.

Host Responsibilities:

Each tea will be hosted by a different individual who will:

-Coordinate an invitation and ticketing with the admin team for approximately 12 guests.

-Coordinate with ChariTea admin to select the charitable organization for the month’s donations.

-The host will provide the tea.

Guest Contributions:

-Bring their favorite tea fare for a potluck-style food arrangement

-Suggested donation of $25 to the chosen charity

Dress Code:
-Guests are encouraged to dress up for the occasion.

Cost:

There is no cost to participate, but guests are required to contribute a donation to support the chosen cause. The requested donation amount is $25/pp.  Donations will be collected through the ChariTea 501c3 (Avalon Park Group Foundation).

Food and Beverages:

The tea will be provided by the host, while the food will follow a potluck style. Guests are invited to bring their favorite tea food, contributing to a diverse and delightful spread. The host will coordinate the menu with their guests.

Administrative Coordination:

The ChariTea admin team will work closely with the hosts to ensure a smooth and successful event. They reserve the right to certify the guest list and approve the chosen charity to ensure all events align with ChariTea’s mission and standards. They will also:

-Provide 501c3 donation platform for guests.
-Provide hardware for heating tea.
-Provide tables and chairs.
-Provide table decoration as coordinated with the host.
