I am a Venezuelan-born, Orlando-based artist currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Art with a Studio track at the University of Central Florida. I have been creating since childhood and began developing my practice more seriously at the age of 14, shortly after immigrating from my hometown of Valencia, Venezuela, to the United States.
My work explores identity, memory, and emotional vulnerability through painting and mixed media, often reflecting my experience as a Venezuelan immigrant navigating life between cultures. By blending realism with expressive and unfinished elements, I create intimate, theatrical pieces that delve into displacement and personal growth. Through my work, I aim to share my experiences while creating space for viewers to connect and relate in their own ways.
Alongside my studio practice, I am pursuing a minor in Art Education and am passionate about sharing my love for art with others. I hope to become an educator in higher education and inspire future generations of artists to express themselves creatively and feel seen, just as art has allowed me to feel understood throughout my own journey.
