
Lisa Katzoff is an emerging artist and has just recently had some of her paintings displayed in the Color rush exhibition at the Inspire Gallery in Mount Dora. Besides being a visual artist. Lisa is a professional singer and special events entertainer and has performed at competitions, concerts and events all over the United States. Lisa originally started painting and drawing as a way to de-stress from the entertainment industry; now she paints and does many art projects regularly .
She has studied painting and drawing for many years during travels to Europe and Asia and has also taken many art workshops and classes in the Orlando area. Lisa creates art in many mediums from watercolor to oil and acrylic and even mixed media. She is an Associate member of the Florida Watercolor Society.
Influenced by many French master artists such as Monet, Renoir, Lautrec and Degas as well as popular urban artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Dean Koons, Lisa Loves vibrant and bright colors, bold lines and glittery metallics, and her art pieces reflect a unique and fun style combined with a bit of impressionism and abstract.
Lisa was born and raised in New York City and was a plein air oil painter, often painting scenes in Central Park and Riverside Park. Before moving to Orlando, Lisa resided in New Jersey for over 20 years and was a regular performer on the New Jersey Blues music Scene.
